Im forcing myself off the vicoden because I hate it and I want to drive tomorrow. So here's my painkiller before bed:
A homemade Frosty Vanilla Milkshake. Nothin beats mouth pain like good old fashioned cold.

My mom has to have two teeth pulled and implants put in on Tuesday on nothing but local anesthetic if it makes you feel any better.

Ah wisdom teeth. I had mine pulled December 2013. It was interesting waking up mid surgery and feeling the dentist yanking one out of my head.

Yeah, I remember it, that sound is going to stick with me for life.
Surreal experience, woke up, was up and about a few minutes later, had my mother there to pick me up since no driving, and I was talking to the dentist about things he said to me just before the anaesthetic kicked it. Completely coherent, remembered everything up until the drugs kicked in, it's never been like that for any other work I've had done.

My last procedure that I needed anesthesia for the Doc made a joke. He said "your gonna feel really funny in a second" I obviously fakely laughed in response as another joke, then right as I did that the drugs kicked in. Apparently I laughed like an idiot all the way to the OR and they had to restrain me. From then on right before I have anesthesia I say "No jokes"

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled before they came in. They completely put me under. God damn that shit was strong. I remember counting back from 100, making it to 97 and the next thing I know, I'm groggily waking up after the surgery was finished.
I didn't even remember falling asleep.
